Are you sending out resume after resume and never hearing back about the positions you are applying for? This use to happen to me constantly, until I learned the trick of writing a good objective sentence for resume purposes, this one little sentence on your resume will greatly affect you finding employment.
TIP #1:
A good objective should be the first thing on your resume after your contact information. The main thing you want to be aware of when writing an objective sentence is DON'T tell possible employers "what you want to do", the objective should inform them of "what you already know how to do".
TIP #2:
A good objective should be tailored for the specific job position you are applying for and will point out specifics of what you already know compared to what the employer is looking for!
Specific Examples:
1. A position as a Team Lead in a Customer Service Environment.
2. Entry Level Electronics Engineer position at (Company Name).
3. Human Resource Generalist in a distribution warehouse facility.
By customizing your objective sentence for resume, for each position you apply for, will make hiring manager aware instantly that you are a potential fit for the position and that you are not just bulk emailing the same resume to every position you come across, this will show them that you care about first impressions and are serious about what you do!
TIP #3:
State your goal in your objective sentence, you don't have get to drawn out on this, but list a few long and short term goals, and match these goals around the position being applied for, to really let the employer see what makes you the right person for the job!
